The movie opens with an establishing shot and a voice over delivered by Director Roger Horn. The voice over goes, in part:

The time is the future, the Earth has become a frozen plane and men are forced to scratch the frozen land in search of scarce natural resources

Behind the Scenes

• This scene almost might as well not exist. Nothing else in the movie references it even remotely. Perhaps the most amusing part is that this, the Future scene, is the only one we shot with the internal clock of the camera turned on, clearly showing when it really is being filmed.
